Our kitchen serves up fresh, locally sourced, home-cooked pub favourites every day — from classic mains to light bites and homemade cakes. On Sundays, our roast dinners are not to be missed, served from 12pm to 7:30pm.
You’ll find a well-stocked bar, delicious cocktails, and a warm open fire to welcome you in cooler months. On sunnier days, enjoy our terrace with covered heated areas overlooking the River Dart — perfect for a relaxing drink or a leisurely lunch.
We cater to a wide range of dietary needs, including gluten-free and vegan options, and proudly serve a rotating selection of local ales and spirits.

Do I need a reservation, or can I walk in?
“Walk-ins are welcome but reservations are recommended during peak hours.”

"We only take reservations for dining, but pop by, we have plenty of spots for a beer."
Do you accommodate large bookings?
“Private hire is available for the full or half restaurant. A new bistro area is currently being developed at the end of the terrace and will soon be available for exclusive bookings.”
Do you show live sports?
“Yes, we show live sports with TNT Sports, including the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, Europa League, Conference League, Gallagher Premiership Rugby, Investec Champions Cup, EPCR Challenge Cup, MotoGP, Cricket, UFC, Boxing, and WWE.”
Is there an outside space?
“Yes, we have two covered outdoor areas, both equipped with heaters for year-round comfort.”
Is the pub pet-friendly?
“Dogs are welcome in the bar and on the terrace, but not permitted in the restaurant or guest rooms.”
Do you cater for Gluten free/vegan?
“Yes, we offer gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options on our menu.”
What accessible facilities are there?
“Our facilities include a sloped entrance for easier access and accessible toilets inside the building.”
Do you put on live events?
